Yes, if you're a new client, I do require a skin test before colouring your hair. This is to ensure you don’t have any allergies or sensitivities to the products used. It’s a simple process where I'll apply a small amount of product behind your ear or on your inner elbow, and you'll need to wait 48 hours to check for any reactions. Once that's done, you won’t need another skin test for 6 months.
This isn’t just for peace of mind; it's actually a safety requirement. Under UK law, hairdressers are legally required to do skin tests on new clients before colouring their hair to avoid any adverse reactions, as per the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.

Absolutely! I offer free consultations, especially for first-time clients. During this consultation, we’ll chat about your hair goals, what you want to achieve, and I’ll get a clear understanding of your hair type and style. As it’s your first time, we'll also need to do a skin test at the same time to ensure everything goes smoothly with the colour. This way, we can get everything sorted and discuss your ideal look all in one go!
For returning clients, we can simply chat over WhatsApp or email to discuss your next steps and any new ideas you have for your hair. I want to make sure you're confident and excited about your hair journey, whether it's in person or online!
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel with 48 hours' notice, I’ll refund you the total amount, including your deposit. If it’s less than 48 hours' notice, unfortunately, the deposit will be non-refundable, as I’ve already paid for colours, supplies, and reserved the time specifically for you. You can cancel by emailing me or using the contact form.
If you need to reschedule, no worries! You can do so free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. You can easily reschedule in the "My Account" section or just let me know, and we’ll find a new time that works for you.
I totally understand that life happens, but please note that repeated cancellations may result in your account being removed and blocked to help me manage my schedule effectively.
Absolutely not! I actually consider it one of the perks of the job. I'm a massive animal lover myself and I love meeting your fur babies! As long as your pet isn’t disrupting the service or creating a health and safety risk (we don’t want bleach flying everywhere!), it’s totally fine. Just make sure they’re happy and safe while I work.
As a mobile hairdresser, If you book a wash or colour service, I’ll need to use your sink, bath, or shower to wash your hair. If you're not sure which option would work best, we can decide together when I arrive. I’ll always make sure you're comfortable and everything is left clean and tidy afterwards!
Wedding Hair / Special Occasions
It's best to book your wedding hair as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Ideally, I recommend booking at least 3 months in advance, especially if your wedding is during a busy season. The sooner, the better to ensure availability! Contact me with any questions 🙂
