Hi there!

My name is Michaela, and I am a Level 3 qualified hair stylist with a HUGE passion for hair colouring.

My interest in hairdressing began as an early teenager, with my younger sister often serving as my first canvas for experimentation. New straighteners? New hairspray? Come here sis! With a lot less YouTube content and social media, this early passion for styling and enhancing hair flourished through hands-on exploration.

Prior to pursuing my hairdressing career, I worked as a support coordinator for a large non-profit care organisation. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I decided to pursue my long-held ambition and enrolled on a hairdressing course at my local college. I achieved my Level 2 qualification in June 2022, followed by my Level 3 qualification in June 2023.

My experience working as an employed stylist in established salons provided me with invaluable practical skills essential for the industry. In April 2025, I transitioned to self-employment, a decision that has allowed me greater creative autonomy. I currently enjoy the dynamic nature of mobile hairdressing and also collaborate with Stephanie at The Cutting Room salon in Morecambe Arndale. My greatest professional satisfaction comes from creating beautiful results and ensuring my clients feel confident and valued.
